Admission and Fees
The admission process to learning Yang style Tai Chi Chuan with Master Ding Academy Kildare is as follows:
1. 6-week introductory Tai Chi courses

All new students to Master Ding Academy Kildare will need to join a 6-week introductory Tai Chi course. The only exception is if a student has previously attended a Master Ding Academy introductory course elsewhere. If you are an experienced practitioner from a different style then contact Robert to discuss your training level.
The fee for the 6-week introductory course is €70 per person.
Places are limited so advance booking is required. Full payment must be made on the first night prior to the start of the course. The course fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
New students attend one 60 minute lesson per week over a period of six weeks. In each lesson there is a new Tai Chi sequence to be learned following on from the previous week. Therefore, attending every lesson of the 6-week course and practicing at home between classes is strongly encouraged.
On completion of the course, there is a follow-on 6-week introductory part-two course to continue further training. Each 90 minutes class continues at the same time, and the 6-week part-two course costs €70. At the completion of part-two course students can continue their training in the weekly classes.
2. Regular weekly classes
At the completion of the introductory courses, students can continue their learning of the 20-part John Ding Tai Chi Form (JDF) by attending weekly lessons in the regular 90 minute class on that day. At the completion of JDF students move on to learning the 108 part Yang style long form (parts 1, 2, 3).
Student payments are either single class or advance monthly rates.
The fees for single classes are: €15 per class.
Advance rates at the start of each month are:
3 weeks – €40 / 4 weeks – €50 / 5 weeks – €60
All advance payments are non-refundable or non-transferable to other students. However, any classes missed in the calendar month can be taken at one of the other locations (Naas, Celbridge, Mountrath).
3. Workshops and Retreats

There are numerous workshops and retreats throughout the year in Dublin, UK and across Europe, many run by Master Ding himself and most are open to everyone.
